Just Two Guys, Amsterdam, Holland. Acrylic, 50x60cm

Originally a detail from a larger painting. The personality of the guys kept changing as I painted until these two emerged. The lanky one is slow to rouse but you don’t want to see him angry. The chunky one is probably into mixed martial arts and always kicking off and coming out with crazy shit.

The arrows are for balance – the whole painting looked like a big chevron pointing left, so I added the yellow and white arrows to “slow things down”.
